The Centre for Domestic Employees’ (CDE) Handy Guides series serves as an eye-opener for some of the common misconceptions that might occur between foreign domestic employees and their employer(s). The series portrays common misconceptions in a light-hearted manner to help both parties better understand each other. We hope that the series will help manage mutual expectations, especially in the initial stages of employment.

Covering topics like cultural differences, employment-related issues and even the need for open communication, the Handy Guides series can help both employer and foreign domestic employee open the channels of communication and eventually, build a healthy relationship between both parties.
