Working in Singapore as a foreign domestic employee comes with certain rules and responsibilities that are meant to protect you. Please familiarise yourself with them and we wish you an enjoyable time working here.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Always have a good and positive work attitude
  • Ask if you are not sure of the instructions given by your employer
  • Talk to your employer or agent, especially when you face any problem
  • Only do household chores at your employer's house at the address stated on your work permit card
  • You should only work as a domestic employee
  • Do household chores safely and according to what you have learnt during the Settling-In Programme
  • Your monthly salary should always be paid to you on time

Please also refer to the Ministry of Manpower's website below for more information:

If you are unsure about the rules and responsibilities, you may wish to contact us.
